Product Description

AM2000EX series isolation safety barrier is used to connect intrinsically safe equipment in dangerous places. It includes two parts: a plug-in module and a base plate, and each module includes one analog or two digital isolation channels. Each module has 2 connectors for plugging on the backplane, one of which is used for intrinsically safe circuits and the other is used for non-intrinsically safe circuits. The base plate is mounted in a plastic housing that can be mounted on a DIN rail. Power and hazard zone terminals are provided on the backplane, as well as connectors for non-hazard zones.

Each backplane can accommodate up to 8 plug-in AM2000EX modules.
