Product Description

Thermocouples and thermal resistors can measure the temperature of liquid gas medium and solid surface in the range of -200 ~ +1800ºC, and are usually used with display instruments and computers. It has simple structure, low price, convenient maintenance, is the most simple and reliable commonly used contact temperature sensor, widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, machinery, food, plastics, heat treatment and other industries.

Thermocouple and thermal resistance according to the structure of the measuring element, can be divided into two categories: assembly type and armored type. The prefabricated thermocouple has the advantages of simple assembly, convenient replacement, large temperature measuring range, high mechanical strength, good pressure resistance and so on. Armoured structure is the thermal electrode or lead, insulation material (generally high purity magnesium oxide powder) and metal sleeve three pull into a solid entity, it has a small diameter, flexible, high pressure resistance, shock resistance, thermal response, high reliability advantages, widely used in various industries

Thermocouple, Thermoelectric Insulation Resistance
1. The test voltage of the normal temperature insulation resistance of the assembled thermocouple is DC 500v±50v, and the environmental conditions for measuring the insulation resistance are 15 ~ 35ºC and relatively wet

    (1) The temperature insulation resistance value of a thermocouple with a length of more than 1m is not less than 100mω.m.

2. The insulation resistance of armored thermocouple is normal temperature insulation resistance, the test environment is 20±15ºC, and the relative humidity is not more than 80%. Armor with a diameter greater than Φ1.5
The test voltage is 500v±50v DC. The insulation resistance between the couple wire and the outer bushing is measured by a single insulated armored thermocouple. Double branch insulation type
Armored thermocouples measure the insulation resistance between the wires and between the wires and the outer bushing:
    (1) For armored thermocouples whose length is equal to or less than 1m, its ambient insulation resistance should not be less than 1000MΩ.
    (2) For armored thermocouples with a length of more than 1m, the product of its normal temperature insulation resistance and its length should not be less than 1000mω.m.

3. The test voltage of the insulation resistance at room temperature is 10 ~ 100v DC, the ambient temperature is in the range of 15 ~ 35 ° C, and the relative humidity should not be more than 80%.
        (1) The temperature insulation resistance value of platinum thermal resistance should not be less than 100MΩ.
        (2) The temperature insulation resistance of the copper thermal resistance should not be less than 50MΩ.


Nominal Pressure
The nominal pressure is the static external pressure that can withstand to protect the casing from rupture at room temperature. In fact, the allowable working pressure is not only related to the material, diameter and wall thickness of the protective tube, but also to its structural form, installation method, insertion depth, and the type, concentration and flow rate of the measured medium. Generally, the environment above 4.0Mpa is under high pressure. Therefore, it is recommended to use an integral borehole protection pipe.

Thermal Response Time
When there is a step change in temperature, the output of the thermocouple thermal resistance changes to 50% of the step change, the time required is called the thermal response time, expressed in τ0.5, the unit is: S.

Minimum Insertion Depth
When there is a step change in temperature, the output of the thermocouple thermal resistance changes to 50% of the step change, the time required is called the thermal response time, expressed in τ0.5, the unit is: S.

The Thermal Resistance Allows Through the Current
The measured current through the thermal resistance should not exceed 2mA.

Thermal Resistance Self-Heating Effect
1. When the excitation current is 5mA, the self-heating effect evaluation of the copper thermal resistance should not be less than 6.25mW/ºC
2. The excitation current is 5mA, and the resistance increment of the platinum thermal resistance converted to the temperature value should not be greater than 0.30ºC.


Armored Thermal Resistance Measuring End
Do not bend, knock or have mechanical damage within 50mm from the measuring end.
